Chocolate Filled Handmade Candy Cane are Yum
Kids are gonna love this! Christmas is gone by, but that doesn’t stop me from indulging myself and my kids in these sinful tidbits….even after Santa has left! Candy canes have been around for more than 50years, but this sweetie caught my fancy this year. There are different shapes and sizes but the candy cane is pretty much a hard candy. The Chocolate Filled Handmade Candy Cane seeks to be beyond the plain hard candy stick. This seven inch cane in peppermint has stunning red and opaque white strips and of course the yummy chocolaty filling. The hard candy shell has a chocolaty filling twisted through it…..though not much of a chocolate.
I preferred the mint candy with an intense peppermint flavor. The inside features a pink and slightly foamy center which gives the whole thing a good crunch. The chocolate here is made from cocoa and coconut & palm kernel oils ... so not really chocolate at all, just chocolate syrup. If you are a candy a fan then this one just shouldn’t miss your watering mouth! Selling at $3.25 for 2 ounces, they’re a bit on the expensive side but they are lip-smackingly delicious!
